Travel to Tunnel View

The first construction on the Wawona Tunnel View was completed in 1933, and for more than 75 years, visitors to Yosemite National Park have been enjoying the wonderful vistas offered by this outlook. From the Tunnel View vantage point, tourists can see some of the park's most famous areas in the Yosemite Valley, including El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall. In 1986, the Wawona Tunnel and the Tunnel View were added to the list of National Historic Places.
