The Yosemite Falls is a three-stage waterfall that tumbles down in three separate sections. The much taller, 1,430-foot upper falls is itself one of the twenty tallest in the world, but the Middle Cascades and Lower Falls as another 995 feet, bringing the total height up to 2,425 feet. In addition to being the tallest waterfall in North America, the Yosemite Falls are the seventh-tallest in the entire world. The falls process the most water during the springtime.
